Why Florida Is the Best Place to Spend Christmas?!
We'd happily trade snow and slush for sandy
beaches.
Not everyone's ideal Christmas includes
snow. Instead, many of us dream of sun, sand, and temperatures that would
inspire, at most, a light sweater instead of a giant parka. For those people,
there's at least one ideal place to spend Christmas: Florida. Don't believe us?
Here are a few reasons why:
Palm trees look just as nice as pine trees.
And you can light them up with as many
string lights as you want!
White sand is way better than snow and
slush.
Yeah, freshly-fallen snow does look pretty
magical ... and then you have to shovel it, or see it turn shades of gray with
dirt as the days progress.
You can sculpt with it, too.
Kind of beats making a snowman.
You can take in the lights and decorations
without freezing.
Need holiday cheer? Head to the nearest
theme park, or one of the many beautifully lit and decorated outdoor spaces.
You can linger way longer than you could up north.
There are all sorts of unique traditions,
like boat parades.
This one's from a floating parade in
Venice, Florida.
Wouldn't you rather have a tropical drink
instead of egg nog?
It's no less festive when you think of it
this way: Daiquiris and margaritas can come in the Christmas colors of green
(lime) and red (strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry).
Just think of the decor possibilities of
flamingoes.
Tiny hats!
Even the post offices get in on the holiday
cheer.
Now this is one post office we'd love to
spend time at during the holidays.
Santa doesn't seem to mind the warm weather
at all.
And if he's happy, we're all happy.
